12月にはいり、雪も降り、外は冬本番になってきました。クリスマスシーズン、買い物する人たちも忙しそうだけれど笑顔もいっぱい。誰かにギフトを考える心の余裕がそうさせるのかな。
私の好きなスヌーピーの作者のチャールズシュルツの格言、クリスマスのこと。この言葉いいなと思う。

今年は暖冬です。昨年のいまごろは雪かきに追われていたけれどまだ一度くらい、シャベルを手に持っただけかもしれません。
葉のおちた冬の木々の風景はさみしさもあるけれど両手を広げているようでみていてあきません。もう少しで2月。
There are few snow in this winter. I often shovelled the snow last winter.
A winter scene is bleak and dreary but I really like to draw a tree which branches were spread.
Vicher Ferry General store
My works are hanging in the store. This store is Vicher Ferry General store. http://vischerferrygeneralstore.com/
The original store was built around 1787.And it was renovated last year.
