アドベントカレンダーをはぎれの布で息子と作りました。初めてのミシンと刺繍糸でのステッチは苦戦していましたが、曜日はないにしても24日のイブまでの24個のポケットを作りながら話をしたことが私の今年の思い出になりそうです。
いくつかの布は亡くなった祖父が庭仕事や、家族恒例のお餅つきに必ず着ていた茶色の麻のシャツ。穴が沢山開いてしまったのでしょう。そのたびに修理をしていたのですがその共布やステッチがとても素敵でそのまま活かしてポケットに。
このポケットには12月になったらお菓子を入れたりする予定です。
My son and I made 24pockets for advent calendar with scrap of cloths. Few of cloths were my grandfather's hemp shirt.He used to wear it with his favorite thing which was gardening. After he past away,I got it for my memory.And finally we made this advent calendar as our memory of our Grandpa.
Actually it is not X'mas color but We will always become happy every time to use it!
